 Nov 1999 - Nominated by Glenrose Foundation. Albert's Family Restaurants has demonstrated its ongoing commitment to supporting children in the Edmonton community. Through its partnership with the Glenrose Foundation and others, it has lent support to "For The Kids Program", Literacy in October, and The Old Strathcona Mothers Day Run. The Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital is the home of Albert's Family Playground, a safe, accessible space that meet the unique needs of all the Glenrose children. Innovative philanthropic marketing has included feature menu items, sponsorship of hospital events, and comprehensive promotional campaigns.
